I accept an onetime PC and i wanted to try something new, to flash my GPU. I read some forums about information technology, and everything seen to be ok. After one day, i tried information technology, it worked everythink well, merely when i attempt to restart it, information technology won't start. Past unpluging the GPU, running iGPU it volition boot up, and if i put GPU back, it won't. Mobo is single-bios, HP 0a64h ( old one ) and gpu is SAPPHIRE AMD RADEON Hard disk 6670 1GDDR5.
Can i gear up it somehow ? I still accept a backup file of bios, just i can't flash dorsum whit iGPU cuz GPU-Z show merely the iGPU bios section .... by putting another AMD GPU and flashing that to this version, or simply putting it and then putting mine back will solve the problem ?

and, some other question, is I can't repair it, what is broken ? mobo, gpu, or i can use all 2, merely non in one ( ex. mobo whit another gpu, and the gpu whit some other mobo )

1. No backup bios, and if i try to downgrade the mobo bios ( i take the latest ) mayhap it will exist fixed ?

2. I tried it, but my PC won't boot if I put my GPU in..

Can i still use mobo whit another gpu ( i will donate/sell information technology for someone if it can withal work whit some other gpu, even a lower i) and if I purchase another mobo (+cpu ram etc.) i all the same can use "bricked" gpu ? (peradventure mobo is bricked, maybe they all work but not together)

Because the trouble is from the GPU, even y'all downgrade the MB BIOS, that will not assist, and yes, you lot tin utilize other GPU.

Usually when the MB does not recognize the newer GPU, you should update the MB BIOS first, not the GPU BIOS.

Because y'all can use the iGPU so the PC (MB) is fine.

Your motherboard bios should have a setting in the 'advanced' section called 'chipset'. In here is where you can enable or disable onboard graphics. Locate this in your bios. After y'all accept done that, what you lot are going to do is install your expressionless videocard and reboot into the motherboard bios, not Windows! Find that section again, and make certain integrated graphics is enabled and selected equally the graphics the computer volition utilize. Save your changes and reboot into Windows. Now you can follow the rest of the steps in the link about how to unbrick your graphics card.

If any of this is too much for you to follow, what made you think you could flash your card?

Because the problem is from the GPU, fifty-fifty yous downgrade the MB BIOS, that will non help, and aye, you tin can use other GPU.

Usually when the MB does not recognize the newer GPU, you should update the MB BIOS first, non the GPU BIOS.

Because you tin can utilize the iGPU so the PC (MB) is fine.

I used some years this combo, but it bricked just later i changed gpu bios ... and then ok, I can use another gpu in this motherboard, only i tin use this "bricked" gpu in another motherboard ?

MB recognized GPU fifty-fifty whit sometime bioses, i updated bios, ( on mb) and cipher was new/meliorate, simply just for security. I used it for some months, and i wanted to try to flash gpu bios likewise ... and i'l broked it :/

From the 1st video, y'all may endeavor utilize the default setting in the BIOS.

If yous still use the bricked GPU, that is why your PC did not boot in the 2nd video. And yous can employ that bricked GPU in other PC too. You lot need the new GPU.

One rule for updating the MB or GPU BIOS, if they work fine don't update the BIOS, except you know how to do information technology in the right way.

If they can fix it, like wink back the right BIOS, or change the BIOS chip, and it as well depends on the MB, like you had the HP OEM motherboard, that GPU may not work, because the MB may or may not have the BIOS for the HD6670. Because if the MB has the right BIOS, the HD6670 will work, otherwise the GPU volition not piece of work with the HP 0a64h.

Aye, if the MB has the correct BIOS.

Because your thread is the give-and-take, so y'all can't mark the answer as solution. And if y'all will post other thread next time, and you desire to pick the answer as the solution, you lot need to click the "Request solutions to this Question (non a discussion)" during set the new thread.
